Pool Games Note

  • All pool games are between 9:00am to 1:00pm (approx.)
  • 10U Boys Pool Games - 9:00 AM to 12:00pm
  • 10U Girls Pool Games - 9:45 AM to 12:00pm
  • 12U Pool Games - 9:00 AM to 1:00pm (Pool A) and (Pool B)
  • 14U Boys Pool Games - 9:00 AM to 1:00pm
  • 14U Girls Pool Games - Round Robin (3 Teams) 9:45am - 12:00pm and 1:30pm - 3:45pm

Awards Scheduling at Tournament HQ - Note (Approx Time to Start)

Medals awarded to 1st Place / 2nd Place / 3rd Place and 4th Place Teams for each division from the result of Final Round games.
Sportsmanship Medals awarded to 1 team per division from the results from Pool and Final Round games.

Schedule Updates

  • We are sending out the game schedule tonight Wednesday June 12th. 
  • The send out will be sent to coaches and volunteers assigned to the team.

ROSTER UPDATES! DUE ASAP.   
Please email [email protected] to inform roster has been updated in the AYSO Affinity System.   You'll have to work with your Regional Admin to ensure that the roster is updated.

  • ROSTERS DUE WED JUNE 12 at 11:59PM CENTRAL
  • Coaches please work with your Registrar or Regional Tournament Admin on Roster Updates
  • PRINTOUT 2 COPIES of FINAL ROSTER.   1 For you, 1 For Tournament Check-In

Coach Meeting

  • 7:30 AM Coach Meeting with Section Coach Administrator Marla Humphries-Dolnick

Coach / Volunteer / Team Check-In

  • Team Check-In Starts at 8:00 AM at Tournament HQ Tent.   See Map Below.
  • All Players to be present.
  • All Coaches to be present.
  • Team Manager to be present.
  • Coach to bring copy of team roster.
  • Players must be dressed at Team Check-In. ( Uniform, Jersey, Shorts, Socks, Shinguard, Shoes, No Jewelry of any kind worn, No Watches, No wristbands of any kind except medical, No Hard Braces / Casts to be worn)
  • Games to start at 9:00 AM or 9:30 AM

Games Format

  • 3 Pool Play Games in the AM - thru Lunch Hour
  • Pool Play Game is 1/2 of a Full Game
  • Pool Play Game Substitution is at the mid-way (half) of the game.   There is no quarter break.   Please adjust your lineups accordingly.
  • Final Game based on points and pool play ranking.
  • Final Game is a Full Game with normal AYSO quarter substitution.
  • Medals awarded to teams in 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and 4th Place Award per division
  • Special Team Sportsmanship Award awarded to top "sportsmanship" team per division
  • Be a good sport! ( Coaches, Players and Fans! )

Pets

  • No Pets allowed at this location.

Parents / Fans

  • Parents, Fans, etc to sit opposite side of the Coach/Players/Referee Side
  • Parents, Fans, to sit 2 yards away from touchline.
  • No one is to be near goals on the goal line side such as sitting, standing, coaching goal-keeper, etc.
  • If injury on the field, no parent or fan are allowed on the field until the Referee allows.
  • If your soccer field is next to a soccer field, players and coaches will be in the middle between the two soccer fields.  Fans must sit on the outside of both soccer fields.   
  • Field 1A and Field 1B and Field 2 will require fans to sit on the outside edge of all fields.  Players and coaches are in between these fields.
  • Field 6A and Field 6B, fans are required to sit on the outside edge of all fields.  Players and coaches are in between these fields.
  • Field 3, Field 4, Field 5, Field 7 and Field 8.   Fans on the outside edge.   

Players / Coaches Technical Area

  • Each Team (Players, Coaches, Team Manager) takes one half and be in the "Technical Area".
  • Technical Area is small area from end of Center Circle Line to Center Line.
  • If injury on the field, no coach or team manger, are allowed on the field until the Referee allows.
  • No Coach to coach along side the entire length of the field.
  • No Coach by the Goal Side. or Near Goal.
  • No Coaching by stepping in the field of play.
  • No Coaching by stepping 1 yard within or on the "touch line".
  • FIFA laws allow for Coaches to be carded.

Roles
Team Check-In Volunteer / Registration Team
At the start of the day, we have multiple teams to check-in with the Registration Team.     The Team Check-In Volunteer will review the team roster and check-in each team player.

Field Monitor
For each game, our field monitors will assist the Referee Crew and Staff with regards to observing the participants at the game & sidelines, collecting the game result card, and reporting in / turning in game card to Scorekeeper.     Check the Field Cooler with Ice and Drinks.

Team Award Presenter
At the end of the day, the Registration Team at Tournament HQ will award 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Place for a division and also "Team Sportsmanship" Award is awarded as well within the assigned division.

The following is a projected team list that are planning to participate in the games.    

All teams must complete the Google Form Team Application Form and also submit the team Sports Connect.   

Pending = Region has notified Directors interest in participation via email only.

Committed = Region has committed a team.

To Do = The Google Form Team Application is ensure that volunteer requirements and certifications are met for coach, referee and team parent volunteer.     Each team must have a coach, referee and team parent assigned from your region.    This has been an consistent requirement for every year in Section 6 Games in AYSO.    

In Review = Your Google Form Team Application is In Review.

Submit Roster = Region will need to submit rosters via Sports Connect or thru Affinity.    We will use the online Sports Connect Tournament System.

Team Submitted  = Region has submitted team thru Sports Connect.

Accepted = Team has been accepted to Section 6 Games.

Rejected = Team has been rejected to Section 6 Games and has delcared to work on volunteer coach certifications, referee certifications, and team parent manager certifications.     Please note:  AYSO is an all volunteer organization and in order to make your regional season work - all volunteers must be certified.

Pre-Registration
Your Team must pre-register:
  • Extended thru April 2024
  • Email [email protected].  Your name, email address, Region #, Team Division
  • Registration Your Team: Google Form : https://forms.gle/vpRvuTshu1Bmsjnh7 
  • Form to be filled out by Coordinator such as Coach Admin / Registrar and Regional Commissioner
  • Email sent to Section 6 Games Registration
  • Tournament Staff will contact RC and assigned coordinator to follow up and verification.
  • Understand that the Coach, Referee and Team Parent volunteer assignments are required for application acceptance.
  • Birth Year (BY) Division Assignment System (AYSO National Standard)

Important Dates
By April 15 - All Player must be registered for the Spring Core Season and play 1/2 of the season. (Google Form)

By May 1 - Configure your Sports Connect site to have a Tournament Program for team assignment.

By May 15 - Use Sports Connect - Affinity Platform to submit your team and provide payment online.

Before May 15 - Register a Tournament Team
We recommend that you create a tournament team in your Sports Connect or Affinity area since players are already assigned to your region's core team.  
1. Work with your Registrar to create a "season/program' for tournament play.
2. Create a tournament core team.   Name your team with a region code.   See code below.
3. Submit Your Team to Association Platform

4. Registrar or RC must go to the Affinity Platform to make payment for team.

10U is 10 Players Per Team that is 7 v 7 including GK and Build-Out Line (BOL)
12U is 12 Players Per Team that is 9 v 9 including GK

- Pool Play in the morning (3 short games where game is half of normal game)

Volunteer Requirements
Coach
- must be AYSO Coach certified at the division level coaching.
- 2 coaches per team. (head coach and assistant coach)  no more than 2.

Referee
- must be AYSO Referee certified
- assigned with the team application
- AYSO Safe Haven and US Safe Sport

Team Parent Volunteer
- assigned with team to help during the day with tournament staff
- AYSO Safe Haven Online
